Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Title 5 Preschool Teacher with current Permit to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development of toddlers and preschool-aged children. Your expertise in childhood development will help shape the foundational skills necessary for their future learning. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, and overall childhood development. Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play. Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in your care. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns related to child welfare. Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive atmosphere that supports children with special education needs. Organize activities that promote social skills, emotional growth, and cognitive development. Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and developmental milestones. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the classroom setting. Requirements Current California Preschool Teaching Permit Experience working in private schools, daycare centers, or similar environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate math and literacy education tailored to preschool-aged children. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners are essential qualities for success in this role. Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus but not mandatory upon hiring; training can be provided.
