Infant Educator Baby Stars Inc Oceanside, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $30 - $40 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Employee assistance program Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Bilingual Special education Infant care Infants Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Educator to join our vibrant early childhood education team for the North County San Diego area (Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Poway, Encinitas, etc) to provide in home services for children from birth to 3 years of age that have been diagnosed with a developmental delay. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in infants. Engage with children through play-based activities Monitor each child's developmental progress using standardized assessments and document observations to inform individualized family service plans. Collaborate closely with families to share updates on their child's milestones and provide guidance on early childhood development best practices. Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, health standards, and safety protocols while managing classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques. Qualifications Prior experience working with children, or early childhood education settings; Knowledge of childhood development and early intervention strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education techniques tailored for infants. Understanding of special education needs related to early childhood development and behavior management strategies. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Bilingual is a plus
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
