Professional childcare facility Tech-forward childcare Professionally cleaned facility As a teacher at Children First Learning Center (CFLC) you are a key to our success and the children's development. As a teacher you will : Motivate your class through innovative modules to help them achieve development milestones. Learn, play, grow! Develop schedules and provide structure and routine for future preparedness. Partner with parents to provide essential communications, share milestones, and work as a team to foster their child(s) education. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and creative environment where children can grow and learn. Support the center's success by engaging with center staff and leadership to achieve goals for your classroom. Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities Cultivate positive relationships with families, parents, teachers, and community. Familiarity with daycare regulations and licensing requirements. Knowledge of child welfare and development principles. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and other key areas of development. Incorporate early intervention strategies to support children with special needs.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Meet state-specific qualifications for the role and willingness to obtain continuing education units. CPR and First Aid Certification. Physically able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Ability to work with children in both indoor or outdoor settings. Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children. Ability to see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children in group settings. Must possess the ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents. Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, Ukrainian are highly encouraged to apply. Note • This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Vacation Time Education:
We follow the below requirements for education requirements for teachers at our facility. Complete a minimum of 12 semester units of course work in early childhood education or child development (excluding field work), including at least one course of at least three semester units in each of the following core areas: Child/human growth and development. Child, family, and community, or child and family relations. Programs/curriculum.

Complete at least 50 days of experience in an instructional capacity in a child care and development program, working at least three hours per day within the last two years. This experience must be verified by submitting an original letter from the employer on official letterhead.

Child Development Associate Teacher Permit. Child Development Teacher Permit. Child Development Master Teacher Permit. Child Development Site Supervisor Permit. Child Development Program Director Permit.
