In this role, you will support the daily operations of our daycare center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster positive developmental experiences, promote learning through play, and build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff. Duties Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities focused on childhood development and learning through play Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities to foster trust and collaboration Follow all mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly and appropriately Provide basic first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary, ensuring quick response to minor injuries or health issues Collaborate with lead teachers and other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that supports children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional support Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices is essential Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus Classroom experience involving toddler care, infant care, or preschool-aged children will be advantageous Familiarity with child supervision techniques, classroom management strategies, and early childhood instructional methods is desired Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or similar safety training is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Previous babysitting or nanny experience demonstrating responsibility for young children's safety and engagement Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
