Our program combines play-based learning, outdoor exploration, and hands-on activities to help children build early academic foundations while developing confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Position Overview We are looking for a Lead Preschool Teacher who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and building positive relationships with children and families. Responsibilities Create and lead fun, age-appropriate learning activities Foster a classroom culture that encourages kindness, curiosity, and independence Incorporate outdoor exploration and learning throughout the day Guide hands-on projects that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Adapt activities to meet the individual needs of each child Maintain regular communication with parents about their child's development and milestones Keep the classroom clean, organized, and safe for all students Demonstrate professionalism and positive communication with children, families, and staff Qualifications Knowledge of early childhood development and play-based education Comfortable participating in outdoor, sensory, and nature-inspired activities Strong classroom management and teamwork skills Professional communication with families and coworkers Education Requirements Applicants must have 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, including: Child Growth and Development Child, Family, and Community Program and Curriculum One additional ECE course (Infant/Toddler Development required for infant classrooms) Why Work With Us TNT Kidz Center provides a collaborative and supportive environment where teachers are encouraged to be creative, share ideas, and help shape meaningful early learning experiences. While we fall under the daycare genre, we don't want to be viewed as a daycare. In our minds, we always felt daycare had a negative connotation. Our goal is to be a character development program. We feel that this is something that is sorely missing from our current education system. As our society struggles with morality, these lines have been blurred and often left unapproached with children. We believe this can and will have a very negative impact on our society and community if not addressed. While we do have a number of families attending because they need childcare during their work day, our goal is to offer such quality teaching, that families who do not need care, choose to have their children attend our center for the enrichment and character development attributes their child will receive. Our ultimate goal is to grow our current center into a program for preschool aged children and below. This will then allow us to open a campus that offers high level training for a wide variety of athletics, arts and different activities. We will then move all of our school age programming into that complex.
