- Education reimbursement and partnerships About the Role As a Preschool Teacher at Merryhill School, you'll play a central role in nurturing the growth, curiosity, and early development of our youngest learners.
You will also:
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum focused on sensory exploration, early language, gross and fine motor development, and social-emotional growth
- Foster a consistent and comforting daily routine that supports childrens need for structure and security
- Encourage independence through gentle guidance, responsive caregiving, and purposeful play
- Collaborate with fellow early childhood educators and school leadership to ensure alignment in instructional practices and care standards
- Communicate daily with parents through verbal updates, digital reports, and informal check-ins
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment aligned with licensing standards and school policies What We're Looking For
- 12 semester (or 18 quarter) units in Early Childhood Education, including coursework in child development, curriculum, and family/community
- Experience working with children in a licensed child care setting preferred
- Deep patience, nurturing instincts, and a genuine love for toddlers and early learning
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with both children and families
