Part-time position:

• 1:00 T, W, Th Can have a June start date if needed We are a small center that offers a play-based, child-led curriculum. All classes run from 8:30
• 11:30.

Class sizes are small with a 7children to 2 teacher ratio.

Must have:

• Experience working with Preschool children in a preschool setting, preferably in a play-based & child directed center.
• Good communication skills, love for children, creative thinking, strong leadership, and flexibility.
• Ability to provide the children with opportunities for spontaneous, unstructured child-initiated play experiences.

Min of 12 ECE units Knowledge of title 22 Please submit a resume with a personalized cover letter.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must hold current First Aid/CPR Certificates. Must have fingerprint clearance with the DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Index. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must have a cleared TB test and approved pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, implement, and manage a developmentally and age-appropriate program for children in a team-teaching environment Maintain children's portfolios and support and assist co-teachers in collecting and organizing anecdotal records and other materials Provide a nurturing, responsive, safe, and healthy indoor and outdoor learning environment that responds to the needs and interests of individual children Promote an atmosphere of teamwork where staff, parents, and children interact positively with each other Communicate and mentor parents Attend monthly staff planning meetings Perform other duties as assigned We offer a professional and supportive work environment t
