Job Description

KinderCare at Scripps Ranch is seeking dedicated Teachers to nurture young children in a safe, engaging classroom. In this role, you will design and deliver developmentally appropriate activities that spark curiosity and support cognitive, social, and emotional growth. You'll build trusting relationships with families through daily communication and regular progress updates. As part of KinderCare's collaborative, inclusive culture, you'll work with teammates to maintain high quality standards, follow health and safety guidelines, and continuously develop your teaching skills and career. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment for young children. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities. Monitor and document children's growth, behavior, and developmental milestones. Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and daily experiences. Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety standards. Collaborate with center staff to support center-wide events and initiatives. Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations. Support children with routines including meals, rest time, and transitions.
