In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive early intervention services to young children with developmental delays and disabilities, supporting their growth and development in collaboration with families and a multidisciplinary team. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive learning environment, ensuring each child receives tailored support that promotes their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. Responsibilities Deliver individualized early intervention services to children from birth to age three, focusing on developmental milestones across areas such as speech, motor skills, literacy, and social-emotional growth. Provide both individual and group specialized instruction at our early learning center in San Francisco, as well individual services at children's homes, daycares, or preschools in SF, Daly City, SSF, San Bruno, and Pacifica. Develop and implement customized lesson plans and curriculum strategies that align with each child's unique needs and IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan). Collaborate closely with families to provide guidance on child development, behavior management, and strategies that support learning. Maintain detailed documentation of progress on each child's goals. Qualifications Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Special Education or a related field Proven experience working with children in early childhood education or special education settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong classroom management skills combined with experience teaching students with disabilities or developmental delays. Knowledge of child development and early intervention strategies. Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish to effectively engage with diverse families and team members.
