We are a small mixed age school, licensed to 20 children from 2-5 years of age. Our curriculum is play Based, Reggio Emilia inspired. We also emphasis on Outdoor play and exploration . We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. If you have a passion for working with students and helping them develop essential skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
  • Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play
  • Provide a nurturing, safe, clean, organized and supportive environment for children to thrive
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress ( DRDP) to ensure developmental milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team and parents to support each child's individual needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning
Skills:
  • Proficiency in early childhood education techniques and best practices
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Knowledge of preschool curriculum development and implementation
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Experience in daycare or toddler care settings is beneficial
  • Understanding of physical education for young children
Qualifications:
AA degree in Early chilhood education. BA. is preferred Min. 1 year experience in preschool / group childcare settings Multi tasking and ability to work individually and with a team Reliable and on time Experience working with children from 2-5 years of age.
