Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 semester units of college coursework in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or willingness to enroll within 130 days of employment.
• Three months experience working or volunteering with preschool-age children in an organized setting.
• First Aid and CPR certification (provided by SLOCOE if needed) must be obtained within 130 days of employment.

Desired:

• 6 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
