Patrick's Mercy Preschool is seeking caring, energetic, and nurturing preschool teachers to join our dedicated early childhood team. We are currently hiring both full-time and part-time teachers who have a passion for helping young children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and loving environment. Our preschool is a warm, faith-filled community where children are encouraged to develop academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with young children, value strong relationships with families, and bring positivity and enthusiasm to the classroom each day.

Responsibilities:

Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development Foster positive behavior and encourage independence Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding student progress and daily activities Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive school culture Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom Follow all licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications:

Required Early Childhood Education units as mandated by Community Care Licensing Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
