YMCA Preschool Teacher's Aide Join a team that's making a difference every day! We're looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Preschool Teacher's Aide to support our licensed preschool program. We're hiring one aide at a pay range of $17.50 to $19.50 per hour.

What You'll Do:
Assist with daily lesson plans and activities following NAEYC and DRDP guidelines. Help supervise children and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment. Maintain the classroom space and materials, and report any safety or supply needs. Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers, including delivery of Parent Notification Forms. Collaborate with fellow staff and attend team meetings, trainings, and family events. Follow up-to-date CDC guidelines as they apply to early childhood settings.
What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) credits is required. Previous experience working with children is recommended. Must be at least 18 years old (21 if driving a YMCA vehicle). Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications, or willingness to obtain them. Ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds in a positive, authentic way. Physical ability to safely engage with children, including lifting up to 40 pounds, kneeling, reaching, and staying active throughout the day.
Schedule:
Part-time, up to 29 hours per week, averaging 5 hours per day. Availability needed Monday through Friday, anytime between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. This is more than just a job.
