Early Childhood Music Teacher Needed Encore Music & Performing Arts - 5.0 South Pasadena, CA Job Details Part-time $40 - $45 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Dental insurance Professional development assistance Paid sick time Qualifications Customer relationship building Teacher collaboration Music activities (creative arts teaching) Client rapport building Instructional adaptability Teaching experience with young children Specialization in creative arts instruction Full Job Description Seeking a qualified early childhood music teachers for in-person group classes on Saturday mornings & weekday afternoons beginning in August, with training and subbing opportunities sooner. Must have some experience with Mommy & Me type music ages 6 months to 3 years old, love children, and be reliable! Curriculum and initial training is provided but existing knowledge of Early Childhood songs is a plus. We are looking for a highly qualified & versatile instructor to join our team of effective and caring music educators! Instructors will begin on part-time, employees. Beginning hourly rate $40-$45/hour. Classes are to be taught on site, in person. We are in need of a group music teacher that is comfortable sharing the love of music with babies and toddlers. We provide dental, telemedicine, accrued sick leave, and professional development workshops.
Applicant Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or greater in related field. Previous teaching experience a plus. The ability to teach to the individual while still meeting set goals for each student Good people skills: works well with both children and adults, and enjoys building client relationships
Timely & Reliable:
though we appreciate the gigging musician, we are not looking for musicians who regularly ask off to travel and record. Consistency in lessons is important to student growth & success. Good time management skills A positive attitude during instruction: the ability to encourage and motivate students to work through their weak areas and to build upon their strengths. The desire to collaborate with a team to create a high quality, yet fun, music education environment. -Must love teaching- the desire to make teaching your career is a big plus!
