If you're passionate about helping youth overcome challenges, creating safe environments, and building meaningful relationships, we'd love to meet you. Whether you're beginning a career in behavioral health, psychology, social work, child welfare, or already have experience working with youth, this position offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact. Available Positions Full-Time Part-Time On-Call Location(s) Hiring for multiple residential treatment homes throughout San Diego County. Pay Rate $22.00 is the starting pay rate regardless of experience and/or education.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (if hired after January 1, 2017) Or Valid Child Development Teaching Permit, Alcohol Counselor Certificate, and/or Drug Counselor Certificate Or Completed 12-semester units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Foster and Kinship Care Education or related field. Or At least 1 year of experience working at STRTP or similar population. Or At least 100 hours of experience working with youth as a mentor, athletic coach, teacher, vocational coach, tutor, counselor, or other relevant experience. Or Relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health or juvenile justice systems as a consumer, mentor, or caregiver or other relevant experience as determined by CFPC.
