In this vital role, you will create a vibrant, safe, and engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood education, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape curious, confident learners ready to explore the world around them. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while fostering their love for learning. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation and respect. Support children's social-emotional growth by promoting emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and positive interactions. Engage in early intervention practices to support children with special needs or developmental delays, collaborating with specialists as needed. Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing standards and documentation of milestones. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's development, achievements, and areas for growth through clear and compassionate dialogue. Ensure a safe childcare environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, supervising children at all times, and managing classroom routines efficiently. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; classroom experience preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education strategies, and curriculum development. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and children. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, nature, math concepts, physical activities, and Montessori methods where applicable. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety standards, and classroom management best practices. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; Montessori certification is a plus.
