Job Description

Program Description:
The Belvedere Tiburon Child Care Center is a private, non-profit organization that operates a preschool program for children aged 2 to 5 years and provides after school care for children from Grades K-7. Operating hours are Monday to Friday 7AM to 6PM. We are currently seeking a floating preschool teacher to work with children ages 2-4 years old. Hours are 9:00 am- 6:00 pm Monday-Friday.
Professional Requirements Include:
12 ECE units DOJ, FBI and Child Abuse Index Clearance TB Test Clearance Ability to work with both preschool and school-age children Ability to work in a team teaching situation Ability to handle children/youth during transition times
Personal Qualities:
Must possess common sense, good judgment and sense of humor Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with parents about their child's day Must be reliable and prompt Must have patience and endurance to work with young children Must be flexible with schedule and assigned tasks Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
COMPENSATION
$30.00- $35.00 per hour Paid professional development including ECE conferences and classes.
