Job Description
KinderCare is seeking Teachers for our Greenwood Avenue center to inspire young children through play-based, developmentally appropriate learning. In this on-site role, you will create a safe, engaging classroom, design lesson plans, and support each child's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You will partner closely with families, model inclusive practices, and collaborate with a supportive team. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning activities Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment Observe and document children's development and progress Communicate regularly with families about children's experiences and milestones Collaborate with center staff to support classroom and center-wide goals Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations at all times Support behavior guidance using positive, age-appropriate strategies Set up classroom materials and learning centers to encourage exploration Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child development knowledge Health and safety compliance Parent and family communication Behavior guidance strategies Observation and documentation of learning Lesson planning Team collaboration Basic computer and recordkeeping skills
