Early Childhood Educator Art & Worship Leader Tri-City Christian School - 4.0 Vista, CA Job Details Part-time $19 - $25 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Employee relationship building Stakeholder relationship building Childhood developmental milestones Full Job Description Tri-City Christian School Early Childhood Education is seeking a joyful, creative, and Christ-centered educator to lead weekly art enrichment classes and Wednesday worship experiences for children ages 2-5. The ideal candidate has a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to engage young children through creativity, music, movement, and biblical teaching.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate art activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and self-expression. Prepare and organize art materials and maintain a clean and inviting learning environment. Lead weekly worship and chapel experiences through music and prayer. Teach biblical truths in a manner that is engaging and meaningful for young children. Collaborate with classroom teachers to support classroom themes and spiritual development. Display children's artwork and celebrate their creativity throughout the school. Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff while modeling Christian character and servant leadership. Follow all school policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and supports the mission and Statement of Faith of Tri-City Christian School. Experience working with preschool-aged children. Child Development Coursework required, Degree Preferred. Background in early childhood education, art, music, worship leadership, or a related field preferred. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Creative, energetic, organized, and able to work independently. Must successfully pass required background checks and meet licensing requirements.
