Full and part-time positions, salary range from $18 to $24 per hour. Available hours are 9:00Am- 6:00pm and 12:00pm to 6:00pm shifts.

• Job summary
• Plan curriculum: Create developmentally appropriate play based lessons utilizing teaching strategies creative curriculum which aligns with the Colorado Early Learning and developmental guidelines.
• Instructional qualities: Can successfully tailor and Implement lessons to meet the unique needs of children with varying abilities and English language learners.
• Manage classroom: maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
• Child guidance: use trauma-informed, adult- first social-emotional practices to model regulation, empathy, and problem-solving. Apply brain-based strategies and strong relationships to help children manage impulse and make appropriate choices.
• Track progress: assess Child Development and document milestones for parent reviews utilizing and observation based assessment tool.
• Communicate daily: Build strong relationships with families through daily updates in person and through the brightwill app.
• Ensure compliance: Follow all Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) rules and Colorado Department of physical health and environment (CDPHE).

Qualifications:

Education:

any educational and training Pathways that meet the requirement of a level 2 or higher. Colorado Early Childhood level obtained through the Colorado shines professional development information system (PDIS).

Credentials:

must meet Colorado shines Early Childhood teacher (ECT) qualification requirements which equates to a level 2+ Early Childhood level credential.

Certifications:

current CPR, first- aid, and universal precautions certifications or willingness to obtain such certifications.

• Background check: be able to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting through the CBI, FBI, and trails system.

Experience:

minimum of 3 years of variable hours in a licensed Child Care Center preschool program or public or private school teaching experience in preschool through kindergarten. Benefits
