We can provide specialized training, if needed, and maintain many community events to support teachers, families and students in their learning. We treat our teachers and families like GOLD because the
GOLDEN RULE
is what it's all about. Looking for a preschool teacher who can play piano at the minimum level of late beginner/early intermediate to teach Piano Playtime. MUST have at least 2 years experience working in preschools. It is also preferred that applicants have an EC or Music Therapy background, or at least a high school degree with the 2 years experience in preschools. Applicants must have a car and carry the teaching equipment with them to Denver preschools to teach 30 minute piano classes 1x/week to groups of 4-8 children at a time, using mini-keyboards for each student. Each school has 1 to 4 of these classes so a total of .5 to 3 hours at each school per week. This is definitely part time, starting small and building as we go. You would also be substitute teaching for other teachers when they are out. Some schools have morning classes anywhere from 9:00-11:30 and others are after school from 3:15-4:00. Training and equipment is provided. In addition, many of the preschoolers are asking for private In-Home lessons once they graduate from Piano Playtime (PPT). We are needing a teacher for these lessons too, to make the transition from PPT to private lessons as seamless as possible. These lessons are after school/early evening. Teaching other instruments besides piano, is a plus.
