About the
Role:
Havenova Home Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Child Care Provider/Nanny to join our team in Bridgeport, CT. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children while working in a supportive and friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and compassionate care for children in a safe and stimulating environment. Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities and educational games. Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, and hygiene. Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized play area and living space. Support children's emotional and social development through positive reinforcement. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Transport children to and from school or activities as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a nanny or in childcare is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and connect with children of various ages. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Patience, creativity, and a nurturing demeanor. Background check clearance and references required. Flexible schedule to accommodate family needs.
