In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm and dedication will foster a love of learning while supporting each child's individual developmental milestones. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives through innovative teaching and compassionate care. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development tailored specifically for toddlers. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Provide attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and ensuring safety at all times in compliance with health regulations. Engage children in playful learning activities that support childhood development instruction and early intervention strategies. Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns or updates. Manage classroom routines effectively to ensure smooth transitions between activities while promoting classroom management best practices. Follow mandated reporting laws diligently to ensure child welfare and safety are always prioritized. Skills Experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood development stages, and toddler care best practices. Ability to develop creative lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development, literacy education, math concepts, and physical education for young children. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Proficiency in classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and a supportive learning environment. Knowledge and experience implementing inclusive strategies for diverse learners. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and child welfare. Pay:
