What You'll Do:
Create a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for infants Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families Follow each child's individual routine (feeding, sleeping, diapering, comfort needs) Plan and lead simple, developmentally appropriate activities that support early growth Observe and document developmental milestones and progress Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Use gentle, positive guidance and responsive caregiving practices Communicate daily with families about their child's care and development Support inclusion and care for children with diverse needs Work closely with your teaching team to maintain consistency and quality
What We're Looking For:
Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (required) or currently enrolled in an ECE program with proof of enrollment CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) At least 1 year of experience in an infant or childcare setting preferred Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving Reliable, patient, and nurturing personality Strong communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of CT ELDS or DOTS a plus NAEYC knowledge is a plus Why Work at CELC?
