Job Description

Noroton Presbyterian Child Care is seeking an experienced and nurturing early childhood educator to join us in a full-time position providing care and education to toddlers and preschoolers in Darien and the surrounding communities. We are a mid-sized program that believes child care settings should feel like a second home for both children and staff, forming a welcoming and supportive community for everyone.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and implementing fun and engaging lesson plans Working cooperatively with co-teachers to care for the children in the classroom Communicating regularly with parents to build a supportive partnership Preferred candidates have: Background in early childhood education (CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's) Experience teaching in an early childhood setting Experience with getting children ready for Kindergarten Familiarity with the Project Approach or similar approaches to curriculum Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Please list 2-3 dates and time ranges that you could do an interview. Do you have a current BCIS background check?

High school or equivalent (Required)
