Job Description

Job Overview Now Hiring Lead Preschool Teachers for the 2026-2027 School Year Darien Nature Center Preschool is seeking warm, dependable, and enthusiastic Lead Teachers to join our nature-based early childhood program. Our teachers spend their days exploring the woods, hiking, discovering wildlife, creating meaningful connections with children, and using the outdoors as the primary classroom. We are looking for educators who are passionate about early childhood education, teamwork, and fostering curiosity and confidence in young children.
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
  • Dependable, professional, and collaborative
Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
