Job Description
KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our East Granby center to nurture and inspire young children. In this on-site role, you will design and lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support social, emotional, and cognitive development. You'll create a warm, inclusive classroom, ensure children's safety, and build strong partnerships with families through regular communication. Working within our collaborative culture, you'll participate in ongoing training, follow state and licensing regulations, and help shape a positive, learning-focused environment where every child can thrive. Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with early childhood standards. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Supervise children to ensure safety and wellbeing at all times. Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and daily experiences. Observe and document children's development and learning. Collaborate with center staff to support center-wide programs and events. Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety policies. Support children's social-emotional development through positive guidance. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Follow Kinder Care policies, licensing regulations, and state requirements.
