Early Childhood Teacher

Cherished Children is a small, private childcare center that has provided an educational and nurturing space for over 20 years. We are currently looking to hire a full time teacher for our preschool classroom. Applicant must have a degree in early childhood and have a passion for teaching young children! Prior experience in a childcare setting and/or early childhood is expected. . Applicant must be comfortable working with children 3 to 5 years of age. Our center is opened from 7:00am- 5:30pm. 40 hrs a week

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older! A passion for helping children grow and learn Be able to work and communicate with others Experience working in a childcare setting CPR/First Aid certification (preferred) Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe, tidy and inviting learning environment Create and follow weekly lesson plans which include a variety of age appropriate activities Communicate with parents daily
