We have approximately 40 children currently enrolled. Sunshine Preschool believes each child is unique and grows and develops on their individual pace. We believe that individual learning is stimulated through collaborative learning, language development and cultural integration. Our curriculum includes a balance of teacher directed and child initiated "hands on" learning activities and meaningful experiences. Children are given an abundance of opportunities to explore materials and participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities including art, music, language development, pre-math skills, science and nature, and dramatic play. Children develop self-esteem, independence and problem-solving skills as they make choices and assist in planning the environment and activities We are seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher that is hardworking, creative individual. Individual must be able to work in group settings and high-pressure situations. Individual must have some experience with the CT ELDS and planning a curriculum each month/week. Individual must have their Associates degree in Early Childhood, Education, Psychology OR several years experience working with toddlers. CPR/Medication Administration certification is always a plus but not a requirement.
