Job Description

Early Childhood Teachers / Lead Teachers (Groton and New London) Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT (CFA) At CFA, we believe early childhood educators shape a child's future from the very beginning. We are currently seeking dedicated Teachers and Lead Teachers to join our nationally accredited, NAEYC-recognized centers in Groton and New London. Under new leadership and with fresh energy across our early childhood programs, this is an exciting time to join CFA. What You'll Do Lead or support a classroom of infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolaged children Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with CT ELDS Build strong, positive relationships with children and families Work closely with a collaborative teaching team to support a supportive classroom environment What We Offer 3 weeks paid vacation 12 sick days 12 paid holidays 5 personal days Medical and dental insurance Agencypaid life insurance 403(b) with employer match 10% childcare discount for staff families Bilingual Spanish/English differential: +$2.88/hour Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 12 ECE credits CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration (may be completed after hire) Strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork and child development Compensation $22.00 $26.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications Fulltime, yearround, MondayFriday daytime schedule Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT (CFA) is a nonprofit organization providing early childhood education, mental health, and family support services across Southeastern Connecticut and is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
