About the
Role:
Join Havenova Home Care Solutions as a Child Care Provider/Nanny, where you'll play a vital role in nurturing and supporting children in a loving environment. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and enriching experiences for families in Norwalk, CT.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities and play. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to dietary restrictions. Assist with homework and educational activities to promote learning. Maintain a safe and clean environment for children at all times. Communicate regularly with parents about child's progress and daily activities. Provide emotional support and guidance to foster a positive atmosphere. Organize outings and recreational activities to encourage social skills. Be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the family.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a nanny or child care provider is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor. Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children. References from previous families or employers are required. Must pass a background check and have a valid driver's license. Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in child development is a plus.
