Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Pre-Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, and passionate about supporting young children's development through engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a classroom effectively, and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities Lead and manage a pre-toddler classroom, ensuring a safe and structured environment Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom staff Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain clear and professional communication with families and staff Observe, document, and assess children's progress Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff Follow all center policies, procedures, and licensing regulations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Reliable transportation Prior experience in a preschool setting, including classroom management and lesson planning Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to manage a classroom effectively Ability to delegate tasks and work as part of a team Willingness and ability to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
