Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children during their most formative years. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational environment that promotes childhood development and fosters a love of learning. Responsibilities Work with the Director to develop and implement training workshops for the toddler classrooms. Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques that support individual needs and promote respectful interactions. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance cognitive skills, social-emotional growth, and physical development, including toddler care and early intervention strategies. Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction and support early learning outcomes. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and provide guidance on child welfare and developmental milestones. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration while adhering to childcare safety standards. Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and special education practices. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, and Montessori methodologies. Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and a supportive learning environment. Certification or degree in early childhood education or a related field.
