Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Daycare Floater to join our team! As a Daycare Floater, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Assist lead teachers with daily activities, including playtime, educational exercises, meal times, and nap schedules. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment. Adapt quickly to changing classroom needs by stepping into various roles as required to support staff and children. Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding children's needs, progress, and daily activities. Assist with basic first aid or emergency procedures when necessary to ensure children's well-being. Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is a plus Proficiency in classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of first aid procedures and certifications preferred but not required; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.

Schedule:

Tuesday and Friday - 7:00am to 5:00pm Ability to take on extra hours if desired when coverage is needed

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour
