Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood education standards, including Montessori and other pedagogical approaches. Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, social interaction, and physical activity, including teaching physical education and toddler care. Manage classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and emotional well-being. Plan and execute lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and standardized testing preparation for preschool-aged children. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in special education and early intervention to support diverse learning needs. Maintain detailed records of child progress, classroom activities, and behavioral observations to support child welfare and developmental assessments. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and daycare policies while fostering a nurturing environment focused on child welfare. Experience Prior classroom management experience in preschool or daycare settings is essential, with demonstrated success in working with children across various developmental stages. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing early childhood education programs such as Montessori or other specialized methods. Proven ability to work effectively with students requiring special education support or early intervention services. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom experience involving tutoring or private school environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood education and experience in teaching math or literacy education is advantageous. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development in areas like childhood development or teaching physical education is encouraged.
