Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and confidence in children. You will be instrumental in guiding children through their formative years, supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth with enthusiasm and expertise. Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, and age-appropriate activities to promote holistic development. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment by managing behavior effectively and encouraging positive social interactions among children. Engage children in educational activities that support childhood development milestones, including preschool experience, toddler care, and Montessori methods when applicable. Conduct regular lesson planning sessions to tailor activities that enhance learning outcomes in areas such as math, physical education, and language skills. Support children's emotional well-being through attentive childcare practices and child welfare initiatives, ensuring each child's individual needs are met. Maintain detailed classroom management records, progress reports, and documentation aligned with standardized testing requirements when necessary. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental progress, behavioral observations, and educational goals clearly and positively. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Knowledge of curriculum development techniques including literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori or similar pedagogies. Experience with special education needs or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to manage classroom dynamics through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques. Prior experience in childcare environments such as private schools or daycare centers is preferred.
