Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Full Time Infant/Toddler Teacher! Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers Provide attentive supervision, ensuring each child's safety and well-being at all times Engage children in stimulating activities that encourage exploration, language development, and motor skills Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, milestones, and daily routines Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development, behaviors, and needs in a positive and professional manner Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and report any concerns promptly Uphold health and safety standards by practicing proper sanitation, administering first aid or CPR when necessary, and adhering to childcare regulations Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive classroom environment that supports individualized learning plans and behavior management strategies Experience Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with classroom management techniques tailored to young children Familiarity with special education strategies and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in first aid is encouraged Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare Previous caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting that involved caring for young children are valuable assets Join us in shaping the future by providing loving care, engaging learning experiences, and vital support to our youngest community members.
