$17•18 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday Lead Preschool Teacher•Prepare Children for Kindergarten Success The Learning Experience•Newark is looking for an experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom where children develop the academic, social, and emotional skills needed for kindergarten and beyond. As the classroom leader, you'll create engaging learning experiences that encourage creativity, problem-solving, independence, and confidence while fostering a warm, supportive environment for every child. Responsibilities Lead a preschool classroom and provide daily instruction using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum Promote early literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development through hands-on learning Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment Mentor Assistant Teachers and promote collaboration within the classroom Observe children's progress and communicate regularly with families Ensure compliance with Delaware licensing regulations and center policies Partner with center leadership to maintain the highest standards of educational quality Qualifications Delaware TECE I and TECE II credentials required Previous preschool teaching or classroom leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Excellent classroom management and communication skills CPR and First Aid certification preferred What We Offer Competitive pay of $17•18 per hour Monday-Friday schedule Professional development opportunities Employee childcare discount Supportive leadership team Opportunities for growth within The Learning Experience Apply Today Join The Learning Experience•Newark and inspire young learners while leading a classroom where curiosity, confidence, and kindergarten readiness come to life every day.
