  • Full-time Willa Road Children's Center is an independent, nonprofit center providing early care and education for children 6 weeks through 12 years.

We offer competitive salaries and see the true value of every teacher that enters our building. At least one year working directly with children. Enjoy children with a confident, innovative and motivated attitude. Organized and able to multi-task. Provide safe and nurturing care to the children at all times. Direct and supervise in classroom wherever needed. Maintain record keeping including personal observations regarding health, behavior and learning of the children. Establish positive contacts with children, parents and co-workers. Understand theories of child development and typical stages of development. Plan and/or execute curriculum that supports development. Create lesson plans aligned with Early Learning Standards. Highly motivated and takes direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working with other teachers Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to listen and follow-up on issues constructively Maintain CPR/First Aid. Provide written and oral feedback to parents on a regular basis. Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties. Able to move about freely and lift up to 50 pounds. Other duties as needed.
