Kinder Gan Aventura is an early childhood program currently in development, opening August 2026. Rooted in Chabad values and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, Kinder Gan is being intentionally built as a warm, joyful, and thoughtful environment that nurtures the whole child. We are seeking an experienced Lead Teacher for our founding class who is excited to be deeply involved in building a new early childhood program from the ground up. This role is both a classroom teaching position and a meaningful opportunity to partner in shaping the educational vision, learning approach, and foundational practices of Kinder Gan Aventura. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, eager to grow with a developing school, and interested in taking on an increasingly influential educational leadership role over time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Serve as the Lead Teacher for Kinder Gan's founding class Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences Support children's growth through observation, documentation, guidance, and intentional interactions Apply your professional experience and educational expertise to help build and shape the educational framework of a new preschool from its earliest stages Collaborate closely with leadership to develop classroom routines, learning environments, and daily rhythms aligned with Kinder Gan's values and educational philosophy

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree or CDA Experience as a lead teacher in Early Childhood (Exeperience in a Reggio inspired setting a plus) Experience working in a Jewish early childhood program, Jewish day school, or similar Jewish educational setting preferred Strong knowledge of Jewish traditions, holidays, values, and customs Ability to integrate Jewish values and culture naturally into the classroom experience Commitment to serving as a positive role model for children and families within a Jewish educational environment Deep passion for children and early childhood education Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning Warm, reflective, and collaborative teaching style Interest in leadership, initiative, and growing into a larger educational role within a developing program
