  • Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Preschool Teacher Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team.
In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom assistant, stepping into various preschool environments to support teachers and ensure a seamless learning experience for young children. Your enthusiasm and flexibility will help foster a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate atmosphere where children can thrive. Responsibilities Assist in implementing curriculum development plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional growth. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment and encouraging appropriate behavior among children. Work closely with lead teachers to execute lesson plans tailored to different age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Provide attentive toddler care and support early intervention strategies for children with special educational needs. Engage children in activities that foster childhood development, including play-based learning and structured educational exercises. Maintain open communication with staff and parents to ensure child welfare and progress are effectively monitored. Help organize classroom materials, prepare learning resources, and assist with standardized testing preparations when necessary. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring activities. Experience supporting special education or early intervention programs is a plus. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families. Demonstrated understanding of childhood development milestones and Montessori or similar educational philosophies is advantageous. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support various age groups from toddlers to preschoolers.
