Childcare Educator

Duties:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans for preschool children.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Provide individualized attention and support to students to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
• Monitor and assess student performance to identify areas for improvement or additional support.
• Implement early intervention strategies for students who may require extra assistance.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to coordinate activities and events.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
• Ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a supportive learning environment for all students.
• Knowledge of early childhood development milestones and the ability to adapt instruction accordingly.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities, materials, and student records.
• Ability to incorporate physical education activities into daily routines to promote gross motor skills development.
• Proficiency in math concepts relevant to preschool education.
