Job Description

Kiddie Academy of Clermont is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our team! We are looking for an educator who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys creating engaging learning experiences that support the growth and independence of young children. Our Two-Year-Old Teachers play a key role in fostering language development, social skills, creativity, and school readiness through hands-on learning and purposeful play. Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with Kiddie Academy curriculum and Florida Early Learning Standards. Foster a warm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Encourage language development, self-help skills, and positive peer interactions. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom. Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress. Communicate effectively with families regarding classroom activities and student growth. Follow all state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. Collaborate with fellow educators and leadership to ensure a high-quality learning experience. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of Florida DCF 45-Hour Introductory Child Care Training preferred or willingness to complete within required timeframe. Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities. Must successfully complete all required background screenings.
