About This Role We are looking for a person for our floater position. A floater is someone who helps out in various classrooms throughout the day or will fill in as a sub. Sometimes they help in the office with various tasks. This is a great position to have because of the flexibility and the ability to work in every classroom where you learn the various stages of development for each group. We don't expect you to have a wealth of knowledge for this position. It's helpful but not required, hours are varied due to staffing needs, If you have flexibility in your life and like having a varied shift, and classroom experiences than this is the position is for you. As per the state regulations we use the clearinghouse to process FDLE background checks. More information can be found at https://crw.flclearinghouse.com. What You'll Do Work as a team member to adhere to quality care. Assist the lead or assistant teacher in the classroom Take attendance, we use an app and paper. Fill out reports as needed. Supervise, teach, and work with children on skills. Clean the classroom when closing. Requirements Have a good attitude. Be a team player. Be able to take constructive criticism. Good communication skills written and verbally. A positive attitude Be willing to be trained.
