Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their critical early childhood years. In this role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help foster a love of learning while supporting each child's unique developmental journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support holistic child development. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to ensure a productive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns related to child welfare or special education needs. Apply child development instruction techniques tailored to toddlers and preschool-aged children, including early intervention strategies when necessary. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records related to student progress, assessments, and incident reports. Incorporate classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and foster an inclusive environment for children of diverse backgrounds. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Knowledge of curriculum development, literacy education, standardized testing methods, and Montessori or similar educational approaches. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or early intervention are a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management best practices. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan lessons and manage classroom activities efficiently.
