We support your career path in early childhood education. Position Requirements & Qualifications To ensure the highest quality of care and remain in compliance with Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) standards, candidates must meet the following:

Training:

Completion of the DCF 45-Hour Introductory Child Care Training is required.

Credentialing:

A CDA (Child Development Associate) or FCCPC is highly preferred.

Background Screening:

Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening (Fingerprinting) and Affidavit of Good Moral Character.

Health & Safety:

Valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Previous experience in a licensed child care setting is a plus!

General Job Requirements Physical Stamina:

Ability to keep up with active children, including bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Classroom Management:

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment at all times.

Confidentiality:

Respect the privacy of our families and follow all HIPAA/confidentiality protocols.

Supervision:

Constant visual supervision of children to ensure 100% safety during all activities.

Teamwork:

A collaborative spirit to work effectively with co-teachers and administration. Essential Skills A genuine love for working with children. Strong communication skills with both parents and teammates.
