Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating young children, providing them with a safe and engaging environment. This role involves working with toddlers and preschool-aged children, focusing on their developmental needs and fostering their growth through structured activities and play. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education. Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. Manage classroom activities, maintaining an organized and stimulating environment. Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among students. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with disabilities or special educational needs. Engage in play-based learning activities that encourage creativity, social skills, and cognitive development. Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents that occur during the day. Experience Previous experience working with students in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Experience in toddler care, nannying, or special education will be considered an asset. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners effectively. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs.
