Infant Room Teacher

Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving care to infants, supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early language development. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Observe and document each infant's milestones, behaviors, and individual preferences to inform personalized care plans. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, routines, and any concerns. Support classroom management by organizing materials, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth daily routines. Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive learning environment that encourages curiosity and socialization among infants. Requirements Prior experience working with infants in a daycare or early childhood education setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus. Strong understanding of classroom management techniques tailored for infant care environments. Excellent caregiving skills with the ability to nurture, comfort, and engage young children effectively. Ability to follow detailed safety protocols and health guidelines diligently. Experience with behavior management strategies suitable for infants and young children is advantageous.
