Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30PMPosition:
Full-Time Classroom Floater / Lunch Breaker Imagination Island is looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Classroom Floater/Lunch Breaker to join our team! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable working with children of different ages. You will assist in classrooms throughout the center, provide coverage for teacher lunch breaks, help maintain classroom ratios, and support teachers wherever needed throughout the day.Responsibilities include:
Providing lunch and break coverage in multiple classrooms Assisting teachers with daily classroom routines and activities Engaging and interacting with children throughout the day Maintaining active supervision and a safe classroom environment Assisting with meals, diapering, toileting, playground time, and classroom transitions Helping keep classrooms clean, organized, and ready for the children Stepping into different classrooms as needed to support the centerQualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare center Comfortable working with children from infants through preschool age Dependable and punctual with reliable attendance Flexible, positive, and willing to help wherever needed Able to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM Must meet all Florida DCF childcare requirements We are looking for someone who is hands-on, attentive, safety-conscious, and truly enjoys working with young children.
