•) At The Learning Experience - O-Town West/Lake Buena Vista area , we are more than a childcare center—we are a place where children learn, grow, and thrive. We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and engaging VPK/Preschool Lead Teacher to guide a classroom of children ages 4-5 years. This role is ideal for an educator who brings energy, structure, and heart into the classroom , understands developmentally appropriate practices , and values strong relationships with children, families, and their team.
Role Responsibilities:
Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment aligned with Florida licensing standards Lead daily instruction using our L.E.A.P.® Curriculum while incorporating creativity and play-based learning Implement lesson plans, assessments, and ongoing observations to support each child's development Maintain active supervision at all times to ensure child safety and compliance Build strong relationships with families through daily communication, our mobile app, and conferences Collaborate with leadership to support enrollment, retention, and overall classroom excellence Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with VPK and DCF requirements Model professionalism, teamwork, and a positive center culture
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (required) Florida Staff Credential or National CDA (required if no ECE degree) ECE coursework, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education (preferred) Completion of DCF 45 Hours (Required) Completion of VPK training requirements (Required) CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of start) Ability to meet all DCF licensing and background screening requirements Strong classroom management and understanding of developmentally appropriate practices Ability to work a full-time schedule (Monday-Friday) Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs, sit on the floor, and actively engage with children
